Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully.
1. Scope of Application
These terms and conditions apply to all development contracts between myself (the contractor) and the client.
2. Scope of Services
The exact scope of services is defined in a separate quote or order confirmation prior to the start of the project.
- Backend-only development
- Development of custom plugins and modules
- Creation of scalable, high-performance backend systems
- Database integration and optimization
- No design work

3. Client's Obligation to Cooperate
The client shall provide all necessary access, data, text, images, and requirements in a timely manner. Delays resulting from a lack of cooperation are not my responsibility.
4. Prices and Payment Terms
All prices are net, plus statutory VAT. Billing may be based on a fixed fee or an hourly rate.
- For fixed-fee billing: 50% deposit upon contract award, 50% upon project acceptance.
- For hourly billing: Monthly invoicing based on hours worked.
- For larger projects, an individual payment schedule may be agreed upon.
5. Project Duration and Acceptance
The estimated completion time is specified in the quote. Upon completion, the client performs an acceptance review. Minor adjustments are included in the price; requests for major changes will be billed based on the effort involved.
6. Liability
We are liable for the provision of the agreed backend services in accordance with the contract. Liability for the frontend design, visual layout, or subsequent design changes made by third parties or the customer is expressly excluded.
7. Rights and Usage
Upon full payment, the customer receives all rights to the developed code (plugins and modules). The source code will be handed over to the customer.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to treat all information obtained during the course of the assignment as confidential. To the extent that personal data is processed during the assignment, the parties agree to comply with statutory data protection regulations (particularly the GDPR). If the contractor processes personal data on behalf of the customer, a separate data processing agreement (DPA) will be concluded prior to the start of processing.
